Day 34 of the 60DWCC - Run for Money

THL and I have been watching a lot of 'Run for Money" series recently. "Run for Money" is a Japanese variety show feature a group of 15 people who will each win $1 million Yen if they can remain free after a 90 minute ordeal where the "Hunters" will be out hunting for them.

Once a person get seen by a "Hunter", he or she has to run as fast as he could to escape being tapped by the "Hunter". Once he or she gets outrun by the "Hunters", he or she will be threw into "Jail" - a holding area for those being tapped by the Hunters. The remaining person who remains free by the end of the 90 minutes will walk away a $1,000,000 Yen richer.

As it is a Sunday morning, THL and I went out to get some food and necessities home and watch another episode of the  "Run for Money" series while eating breakfast with RK. The afternoon went by quickly with me working on my project while THL does her household chores and RK doing his school and tuition homework. THL prepared lunch for us while doing her weekly household tasks and watching of her favorite Korean drama.

As we were too lazy to go out for dinner, I decided to went downstair to packet dinner home. While waiting for dinner to be ready, I dropped by one of the DVD rental shop and rented 3 DVDs (Thor, Grown Up 2 and Oblivion).

These are some movies that we have previously missed while they were being screened over the cinemas. We ate dinner and concluded the evening watching one of the DVDs.

Transport Expenses: $0

Daily Afterthoughts:

If you have been following our 60DWCC, you would have noticed that we tend to stay at home at least one of the weekends - either Saturday or Sunday. Is this because we have gone car-less and it is mentally and physically tiring to go out on both days? Maybe... to be honest it does not really matter now because we know we are no longer spending thousands of dollars on transport expenses over the past month and it really feels good spending that money on foods and clothing instead of fuels, car-park fees, road tax, etc...
