Day 33 of the 60DWCC - Shopping for CNY Clothing at Orchard Road (Round 2)

As THL had to run some personal errands in the morning, the 3 of us only left the house for our CNY shopping at around 2pm. We took bus 502 to Orchard road. THL and RK was lucky to get a seat while I had to stand all the way throughout the journey. We alighted at the bus stop near Centrepoint.

As we were quite thirsty and my leg tired after standing throughout the entire journey to Orchard, we decided to have a short tea-break at TCC. The ambience at this cafe was good and although the food and drink were over-priced, we find that it is still relatively cheap compared to the other more premium cafes in Orchard Road.

After our tea break, we began our shopping spree at Centrepoint. We had dinner at Prima Taste and walked over to shop again at Orchard 313.

Except for RK, THL and I each bought something (clothing from Timberlands, IORA, Espirit) for ourselves. At 9.30pm, we took bus 502 home as we are already at the verge of energy depletion and our legs were screaming for mercy.

Home to Orchard Road => $2.32 x 2 + $0.88 = $5.52
Orchard Road to Home => $2.32 x 2 + $0.88 = $5.52

Daily Afterthoughts:

Even though the bus fare to Orchard Road is more expensive than the usual bus rides, it is still ridiculously cheap when it comes to not having to incur the very expensive parking fees at the Orchard shopping malls. We no longer have to be conscious about parking fee anymore and we were able to shop till the late hours before taking a direct bus home.
